Shayne most recently wrote, directed and executive produced What No One Tells The Bride, a half-hour comedy pilot about a strong, liberal woman’s journey into marriage with a conservative Naval officer. He is also a freelance director and is currently shooting a feature (Staying Together While Falling Apart), a documentary (This Is Love), commercials and videos. Recently, Shayne directed, wrote and produced Minding Swarthmore, the first documentary ever about the history and character of Swarthmore College and before that, Salt And Light, a documentary about the sixth World Conference of Friends near Nakuru, Kenya.
Previously, Shayne directed, wrote and produced Iroquois Rising, which premiered at the Museum Of Tolerance International Film Festival. He also directed, wrote and produced the crime-comedy short True Bromance. Prior to that, Shayne wrote and directed two short films, one of which (Bullet Bound) was chosen as a second round selection for Bravo’s Project Greenlight. Shayne spent significant time as a Director-Observer on CBS’s The Unit, as well as Fox’s Lie To Me and Disney Channel’s Good Luck, Charlie. He has also written and directed corporate/educational videos, and wrote and developed several other television, film, documentary, web series, short and music video projects.
Shayne earned a BA in economics from Swarthmore College.
